You can save money by joining IATEFL and registering for the conference as a member, rather than to registering for conference as a non-member. How to book
Log in to your IATEFL Dashboard at www.iatefl.org
Click Book for the full conference (or Book for single conference days if you are not attending the whole conference) in the 'International Conference' block.
Complete all sections with the appropriate information
Payment Options
Pay immediately using your credit/debit card
Pay later (you will be shown the available payment methods when you select this option)
Click the Review button
Check all your details are correct and the correct price is displayed
If you are happy the information is correct click Register (or you can click the 'Go Back' button if you need to make any amendments, do not click 'Back' within your browser)
Group bookings and payments
If you would like to make a group booking, please email conference@iatefl.org.
To make payment for your group, each member of the group must have a booking in place. Once that has been organised, please follow one of these four options:
Send a bank transfer - Please email the invoice numbers for each booking along with your remittance to finance@iatefl.org.
Pay over the telephone - Please call us on +44 (0) 1795 591414, we are open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (UK time). Have the invoice numbers of each member of the group to hand.
Pay online - Please contact finance@iatefl.org with a list of each member of the group and their invoice number. You will then be sent a link to make your payment online.
Pay on arrival at the conference - We can accept onsite payment in cash (GBP sterling only) or by credit/debit card. Please note, we do not accept American Express. Please come prepared with the invoices of each member of the group.
If you pay in advance of the conference, each member of the group will need to visit the Registration desk to collect their delegate badge individually.
Employer justification letter
With over 500 conference sessions, five world class plenaries, practical 'How To' sessions, a vibrant evening programme, and an Exhibition showcasing the latest resources, courses, materials and goods from the ELT world; we think it seems fairly obvious why you should attend our Annual Conference.
We appreciate though that sometimes it can be difficult to convince your place of work that you should be allowed the time off or even secure some funding from them to be able to attend. We have therefore translated our document about the professional development benefits our conference offers into a number of different languages.

Visa information and invitation letters
IATEFL is not able to provide any visa advice to our delegates. We recommend that you visit www.gov.uk/check-uk-visa to find out if you require a visa and which one is most appropriate for you.
Delegates who require an invitation letter in order to make visa arrangements should first make a conference booking online. Under the Personal Information section, tick the ‘invitation letter required’ box and fill in your passport number where indicated. Please ensure you have filled in your full name, postal address, nationality, passport number, and your email address carefully in the correct fields.
As invitation letters are sent out manually there may be a delay in receiving your letter during busy times, please allow up to two weeks from the time of your booking for your letter to arrive by email.
Please note that invitation letters are only for overseas delegates who require an invitation to assist with their travel visa application. Delegates who require a letter for their place of work to secure time off or funding should instead download an Employer justification letter (see above).
Certificates of attendance
All delegates and speakers will be emailed a copy of their certificate after the event. Please note, it may take up to a week after the Conference for you to receive your certificate. This delay may be longer if you register onsite.
